Presence Power Impact (Also known as CBCT®)
Presence Power Impact is an interactive institute during which participants explore how practices of compassion and discernment enhance their presence, power and impact. The Presence Power Impact institute engages the research-based practices of Emory University’s CBCT® (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) course. We offer Presence Power Impact in two formats this year: weekly for 7 sessions and a 4-day intensive.
Within a community of CREATE educators, you will learn to:
- strengthen self-awareness, particularly in challenging moments
- understand and engage compassion for self and for others in our classrooms, schools, and communities
- meditate and engage in related contemplative practices
- cultivate greater personal resilience
This work is done in partnership with Emory University's Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics, whose mission is to promote human flourishing by developing educational programs, facilitating dialogue, and engaging in research.
