Compassion-Centered Professional Learning

Presence Power Impact (Also known as CBCT®)

Presence Power Impactis an interactive institute during which participants explore how practices of compassion and discernment enhance their presence, power and impact. The Presence Power Impactinstitute engages the research-based practices of Emory University’s CBCT® (Cognitively-Based Compassion Training) course. We offer Presence Power Impactin two formats this year: weekly for 7 sessions and a 4-day intensive.

Within a community of CREATE educators, you will learn to:

  • strengthen self-awareness, particularly in challenging moments
  • understand and engage compassion for self and for others in our classrooms, schools, and communities
  • meditate and engage in related contemplative practices
  • cultivate greater personal resilience

This work is done in partnership with Emory University’s Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics, whose mission is to promote human flourishing by developing educational programs, facilitating dialogue, and engaging in research.
